have/has + Past Participle

Najčešća upotreba: koristi se za označavanje radnji i dogadjaja u prošlosti koji imaju vezu sa sadašnjošću.

  1. Obično se na srpski jezik prevodi u obliku prezenta.
  2. koristi se da iskaže radnju koja se desila neposredno pre sadašnjeg trenutka, a posledice te radnje uočavamo tek sada.
  3. koristi se da iskaže neko iskustvo koje se desilo nekada u prošlosti, bez vremenskih odredbi.
  4. Može se koristiti i u zavisnim rečenicama kada želimo da naglasimo da će se jedna radnja završiti pre no što druga počne, ali tada glagole pišemo posle until, till, as soon as, when, once, after...
  5. U američkom engleskom govoru često se umesto Past Perfecta koristi Present Simple.

Primeri:

I - It hasn't rained here for more than a month.

II - My father has worked in this factory for twenty years.

III - Have you cleaned up the room?

IV - I haven't slept like this for a long time.

V - I have read a lot of books since I finished school.
